Secure, long-term solution
magneto-optical drives are multifunctional and compatible with both Write-Once/Read Many (WORM) and rewriteable media cartridges. magneto-optical media has an archival life of 100 years and is warranted for the life of the media. High capacity
9.1GB-based products store 9.1GB per cartridge-approximately 12.3 million pages of information. Storage capacities ranges from 9.1GB in the standalone product to 2.2TB in the largest jukebox. You can store a file room full of data on these jukeboxes.


Backward compatible
optical jukeboxes are backward compatible, providing additional investment protection. The 9.1GB-based products will read and write to 2.6GB-, 5.2GB- and 9.1GB-based disks. The systems will read every generation of industry-standard 5.25" magneto-optical media ever sold, including 650MB and 1.3GB disks --exceeding the Optical Storage Trade Association's (OSTA) industry standard for backward compatibility.


WORM and rewritable media support
Magneto-Optical jukeboxes support both Write-Once/Read-Many (WORM) and rewriteable functionality. A magneto-optical drive or optical jukebox can provide both the security of WORM, which satisifies government and regulatory requirements for permanence, and the flexibility of rewriteable.

Magneto-Optical jukeboxes offer full-family scalability with storage capacities from 220GB to 2.2TB with multiple capacity points in between. conversion kits allow you to convert your 2.6GB- or 5.2GB-based jukeboxes to 9.1GB-based systems, so your magneto-optical system can grow as your needs grow.
