Default The Advantage's And Disadvantages Of Remanafactured Ink

There are several routes you can take once the ink in your ink cartridge runs low or is completely out. One of the options available to you is an ink cartridge refill. Agreed that ink cartridge refills are a lot less expensive than purchasing new ink cartridges.

The Advantages

The most obvious advantage is the amount of money you will save purchasing ink cartridge refills. Refills cost about sixty percent less than purchasing a brand new ink cartridge. However, if you are indeed opting for an ink refill than make sure that you get it done by a professional. Making a mess out of the job or getting cheap inks will spoil the prints as well as critically damage your printer.

Another advantage of choosing ink cartridge refills is an indirect advantage. By choosing ink cartridge refills you will be lending a helping hand to protect the environment. This is because if you purchase new ink cartridges every single time then the ink cartridges that are thrown out cause harm to the environment. The numerous ink cartridges that have been used end up in a landfill year after year. These ink cartridges take about a thousand years to degrade. So you can imagine the kind of pressure it puts on the eco system of that area. Therefore, by simply choosing to refill your ink cartridge rather than purchasing a new year you are stopping huge piles of plastic from ending up in a dump or landfill.

That’s that for the advantages. Now we move on to the disadvantages of choosing ink cartridge refills instead of purchasing new ink cartridges, which are mentioned below.

The Disadvantages

There are a few ink cartridges that are very difficult to refill. Also, trying to refill your ink cartridge on your own at home can be a very messy job. Knowing this, companies or stores selling refill kits also give bleach or a solvent along with it. This bleach or solvent is given to clean up, in case you end up getting ink on your hands, clothes or furniture. There are several other points that have to be covered regarding the disadvantages of choosing ink cartridge refills over purchasing new ink cartridges for your printer, which will be discussed in the next chapter.
