Amazon.com began offering customers a new sale on Blu-ray live concert titles in the latest high-definition disc promotion. The discounted titles retail between $8.95 and $14.95.

Retailers have begun to offer promotions to spur Blu-ray growth and clear HD DVD inventory. Amazon.com is offering up to 47 percent off Blu-ray disc titles.

They have also slashed up to 60 percent off HD DVD titles in the latest promotion for the defunct high-definition format. Finally, Best Buy Co. Inc. stores will offer a free $10 gift card with the purchase of select Blu-ray disc titles
