Default What is DVD replication?

DVD replication is the process of making a glass master and a stamper to manufacture long runs (500 +) of DVD's. Replicated discs are the highest quality product.

DVD replication comes in a variety of forms:

DVD-5 single sided, single layer. Size: 4.7 GB
DVD-9 single sided, double layer. Size: 8.5 GB
DVD-10 double sided, single layer on both sides. Size: 9.4 GB
DVD-14 double sided, double layer on one side, single layer on other. Size: 13.3 GB
DVD-18 double sided, double layer on both sides. Size: 17.1 GB

8cm DVD's with a disc capacity of 1.5 GB are also available.

DVD's that are not replicated can't be guaranteed to play in every device, So if you are planning on selling your discs it is advisable to avoid duplicated products.
