Here at DVD-and-Media.com it is our priority to give the very best
service we can to you, all of our customers.
The majority of our orders are shipped from our warehouse in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. We regularly supply customers in many different
countries, although the main bulk of our products go into the UK
and Ireland - we have sent many orders as far as Australia and
Saudi Arabia, meaning we have now supplied our products to 46 different countries all across the globe.
As a rule any package we send is sent by 'signed for' delivery
- this is either recorded mail, citylink or TNT. It is therefore
important that someone is at the delivery address to sign for the
goods on arrival, in the event no-one is available to sign for a
delivery the courier will post a note through your door and it is
then your responsibility to arrange with the courier for collection
from their depot - the courier may at their discretion re-deliver
free of charge but it is becoming more common for couriers to charge
for a re-delivery (this varies from area to area). It is our advice
to call the courier as soon after the missed delivery as possible
as often your package will still be on the couriers van meaning
chances are you should get a free re-delivery (if you ask nicely).
You can always collect your goods from the couriers depot following
a missed delivery free of charge, don't forget to take the couriers
note with you though, or they won't be able to release your package.
Delivery charges vary greatly and are dependant on weight, number
of parcels, your location and speed of delivery. DVD-and-Media will
always try to minimize the cost of delivery for you and get your
goods to you as quickly as possible - all parcels are packed professionally
by our fulfillment staff and should always arrive in perfect condition.
Please note : When your delivery arrives please check it carefully
- make sure it hasn't been opened or tampered with, once you have
signed for the package or packages the goods are deemed as delivered.
If you suspect your package has been tampered with on route it is
essential you reject the delivery and call our offices on 01302 330 333 immediately - DO NOT SIGN FOR DAMAGED OR TAMPERED WITH BOXES
/ PACKAGES. Where goods have been damaged or tampered with on route
to you we are able to claim these damages from the courier and send
you out new goods - if you sign for damaged goods we a unable to
claim from the courier and therefore unable to despatch new goods
- please be careful.
Lastly - when your package arrives please check the weight of the
goods against the weight on the couriers note - again please be
careful - when goods leave our warehouse they are weighed and this
weight is put onto the despatch manifest - it is this weight that
will be used to prove the correct goods were shipped in the event
of a dispute.
