A comment on our BIC pens by Mr A Norbert of Oxford University -
When I got my new pack of 50 bic pens from DVD-and-Media.com I got straight to testing them! The first one out of the packet worked brilliantly with my right hand, but when I swapped to my left hand my writing came out looking like my two year old daughters scribblings. I can only conclude that Bic have designed a right-handed only pen! Take care if you are a left handed pen user or make sure you to "try before you buy".
A comment on our pens by Mrs Penny Novalist of Hogstone womens institute -
Ever since I got hold of my new pens from Bic I have been over the moon and they write fantastically on all the different types of paper I have in my house. Now that I have so many pens there is only one thing to do and that is to spend hours and hours every day looking for new things to write on. I have done the shopping lists of my pen I have been very happy with the quality of lists it has produced! Yesterday I even did a little doodle on the back of one of my envelopes which I was particularly pleased with. My bic pen has found a nice little home next to the notice board in my kitchen where I know it will be safe from the children as I wouldn't want them chewing it. My black bic writing pen is the transparent type with a black top. I much prefer this one to the old fashioned orange type because I like to be able to see the amount of ink I have left.
I have never been so excited as when taking delivery of my new pens. But now I realise that I should not just write for the pure enjoyment, this could be my ticket to international stardom! So from now on I have I started taking a little more care of what I write with my BIC. I hope to use it to sign autographs at the premier of the screenplay I am currently writing.
I have a very helpful little tip for you that you might not know about - if you let the ink dry for a few seconds you can avoid the smudging that sometimes happens if you rub the writing immediately after writing. Fortunately the ink used in this particular Bic black pen seems to dry very quickly.
You will quickly notice that the barrel of the BIC has been stylishly shaped - almost like a statue and it actually fits very carefully in the pen holder down the edge of my Filofax - this has just the right level of grip that I can be confident when I need to reach in and get my pen it's going to be just where I left it!
I love my pen so much that I have named her Kate and she goes everywhere with me now. If she argues with me then I will simply cast her aside and replace her with one of her 49 identical sisters from the box I bought, after all they only cost me 10p each. I would happily recommend this type of pen to you if you are planning on writing on paper, backs of envelopes, note books or shopping lsits. If you have a requirement for a writing implement for some other surface such as writing on a CD, or other non-porous substances then another pen might be better suited but I'm sure DVD-and-Media have something suitable, but if it's just plain old paper then I think you will probably quickly fall in love just like me with the good old Bic and be well served by this particular model.
